Summer ‘24 aka your best summer yet

It’s officially summer!  I’m trying to soak up every minute of the longer days and be more present and intentional with my time for the next couple of months.  Here’s a peek at what I’ve added to my summer bucket list. Try making your own and keep it in the notes section on your phone for a quick reference. 

  • Go to the free concerts in my neighborhood park

  • Try cooking one new dinner recipe a week

  • See a movie at Rooftop Cinema

  • Learn how to make sourdough

  • Plant a garden

  • Host a barbeque

  • Create more space– take more mid-day walks, sip coffee outside, re-commit to my prayer/meditation practice

  • Curate a summer capsule wardrobe

  • Screen free Sundays – ditch social media apps, email, and texting one day a week to feel more present and connected IRL.

  • Play tourist - try a restaurant in a different neighborhood, go to a museum, or head to that afternoon baseball game. 

  • Hit the books – make a summer reading list and knock out some reading instead of reaching for my phone. 

  • Rewatch an old comfort TV series – I just started rewatching New Girl and forgot how funny this show is.
