What I’m adding to my Costco cart

The latest and greatest items to buy in bulk!

Bobby and I were due for another Costco haul, which means you are in luck and get to read about all the new healthy finds we scored on our latest shopping trip!  Full disclosure, this is what we found in our San Diego Costco, but hopefully many of these items are stocked across most warehouses.

Go Macro

I feel like I manifested this one.  Go Macro has been one of my go-to bars when I need to throw something in my bag for a quick snack, and I always selfishly wished they would sell them in bulk at Costco.  Ask and you shall receive, right?  The box comes with oatmeal chocolate chip and salted caramel + chocolate chips and while these two aren’t my favorite Go Macro flavors, I’m hoping they will expand to include more flavors soon (hint: chocolate peanut butter chip, please!).

Banza Chickpea Pasta

Another staple that I always keep in my pantry!  While I love a good homemade pasta from the Italian market, when I’m trying to eat healthier during the week and keep my protein intake high, I love cooking weeknight meals with Banza chickpea pasta.  I like to throw in ground beef and spicy tomato sauce for a healthy bolognese, or chicken meatballs with a cream-based sauce and pine nuts.

Chicken Burgers

This one was something I stumbled upon and decided to try without any knowledge of the brand or reviews.  With 20g of protein per patty and easy cooking instructions, I was sold.  I’ve been having them for lunch and it has been a nice addition to my lunch time rotation.  I topped it with a Costco guacamole cup and some pickles on a bed of lettuce and had lunch on the table in less than 10 minutes.

Guacamole Cups

In my previous Costco blog post, I talked about the avocado cups.  After trying the guacamole cups, I prefer these!  The guac cups are perfect when I want something with a chunkier guacamole texture for tacos or burrito bowls.

Siete Tortillas

I’m convinced everything is better in taco form.  While I prefer the Cassava Siete tortillas, the almond flour is a close second and the fact that you can buy these babies in bulk is amazing.  Breakfast tacos, fish tacos, or Taco Tuesday, these will keep your meal prep easy with 20 servings.

Honey

I love adding raw, unfiltered honey to protein balls for a touch of sweetness, or my coffee if I’m making a honey cinnamon latte.  For the price, you can’t beat the little Costco bears of honey, especially if you are making multiple batches of protein balls for your meal prep.

Cauliflower Crust Pizza

Some days you just need to throw a frozen pizza in the oven and call it a night.  Usually cauliflower crust has a cardboard flavor, but this one tastes like the real deal!  The veggie pizza is delicious, but Costco also carries a cauliflower crust Kirkland brand supreme pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and roasted veggies that is just as yummy if you prefer meat.  Each box comes with two pizzas and they cook in less than 20 minutes in the oven.

Joggers

Ok this one was a pleasant surprise.  If you are like me and love the Vuori performance joggers, I encourage you to run to Costco and buy these dupes while they still have them.  I have a few pairs of the Vuori joggers and honestly the quality, softness, and material feel exactly the same.  The best part?  They are a fraction of the price at $12.99!  I had to snag a pair of these and am so happy that I stumbled upon this score.  No shame in the Costco clothing game!
